Don't relate such incidents with racism. Racism is some thing else. Indians don't attack the foreigners. It is true that they use words like "kalu" for Africans but that is not due to their racist out thinking. They say this in a humorous mood

Whatever, in Delhi there are never any attacks against people coming from other parts of the country how so ever uncivilized they may be, and never ever on foreign nationals.

Particularly, those who come for higher education are respected all through out India, as Indians tend to respect the knowledgeable. Just have some more qualit universities in India, Aussies won’t dare to beat you up. Aussies got a good response in Cricket first, this time it is on a higher scale!
