Indian think-tank weren’t be able to read the pitch quite well as the much-hyped Indian batting line up fell like nine pins against some fine quality bowling by South African seamers as the hosts got all out in exact 20 overs after managing just 76 in...

Only one man who could have withered the storm today is out with a groin injury. You need to have a game of Sachins’ Caliber to play on such a docile track. All sloppy technique wrote the nemesis script. The feet were going no where for any of the batsmen barring Dravid on a few occasions.

we have talked about cricket a lot and I really have not watched this match as some ’Earth Hours’ were forced on me because of Summer power cut. But, to the best of my knowledge, a ’Docile Track’ means something that is dead and easily negotiable by batsman. So maybe you got that mixed up or just meant something I didn’t follow. Anyway in case I got it wrong do correct me on it.
I assume you were saying that you need a wonderful technique on a track that is doing a lot. I know Dravid has it and since I didn’t watch the match, I am still wondering how it is as bad as 76!! Irrespective of any factors, that is pathetic. We already are missing Sachin after 1 innings!
