Don't call india modern. This country is full of backward class... backward in the sense of thinking, behavior, values. Treat women as nothing more than an object. Go to the interior villages and see the plight of the women.

Sick people who know nothing except producing children and then exploiting them for parent's advantage. Girls are sold for sex or as maids. And this is common in the poor and illiterate families who have no value or love for their children.
